DOSAGE
It is recommended that you start off with a low dose and build up as required this way you can can gage carefully your pets response to the CBD, as with humans there will be many determining factors in the correct dose.
Factors That Influence CBD Dosage For Dogs
As mentioned earlier, CBD company guidelines and concentration vary from brand to brand. Before deciding how much CBD to give to your four-legged friend, keep the following factors in mind.
Dog size, weight & age: For instance, a 50-pound dog will be more susceptible to two drops of CBD oil (of the same potency) than a 150-pound dog.
Dog health conditions: Talk to your veterinary if your dog is on prescriptions to avoid drug interaction. If your dog cannot effectively digest CBD due to a health condition such as liver or kidney problems, make sure you seek medical advice.
The ailment: Usually, more severe health issues (i.e., cancer) require higher dosages and a more potent concentration of CBD. The less severe the condition (i.e., anxiety or wellness), the lower the dosage.
CBD product potency: CBD companies offer different potencies. From 75 mg for small dogs to 250+mg for large dogs. Make sure the potency is appropriate for your dog’s size.
THC levels: Make sure you avoid products with any THC. THC is the chemical responsible for most of marijuana’s psychological effects. Look for products with less than 0.3% THC ( Pure Presence contains less than 0.2% of thc )

Not all oils are the same; you’ll want high-quality CBD oil to have a better chance of it working.
Look for organic. If the CBD oil is not organic, it at least should not contain pesticides, fungicides, or solvents.
Don’t only shop based on price. Higher quality and purity are usually associated with a higher cost. A cheaper option could contain toxic substances such as pesticides, herbicides, or heavy metals. Make sure your CBD oil is free of additives.
Get the analysis. The manufacturer should provide a certificate that certifies the amount of CBD that is in the product. Many CBD products contain only small amounts of CBD. You’ll also want to make sure there is little or no THC in the product.
Buy CBD as a liquid. You can buy dog treats containing CBD, but the best form to administer is an oil or tincture. This way, you can adjust your dog’s dose drop by drop.
